GO CHINA: DIVE INTO THE HEART OF CHINESE CULTURE 🇨🇳

A unique immersion day to discover the richness and metamorphoses of modern China, honoring the women who built its history.

Join us at La Ruche for a cultural, historical, and culinary journey, filled with traditional activities and exciting discoveries!

🗓️ Program of the Day

From 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, take part in a multitude of activities (spots for some sessions are limited, remember to book!):

• 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM: 🧘‍♀️ Tai Chi initiation, a gentle martial art perfect for relaxation and balance.
• 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM: 🎬 Exclusive screening of the movie Farewell My Concubine (Chen Kaige, 1993), a monumental epic about the sacred art of Peking Opera and the Cultural Revolution.
• During the day (2 slots, morning/afternoon): 🍵 Traditional Tea Ceremony to taste exceptional teas and discover the history of Empress Leizu.
• Live Music: 🎼 Guqin Concert (7-string zither) in tribute to the fascinating poet Cai Wenji.
• Culture: 🗣️ Exclusive conference hosted by Mr. Debière.

🎨 Continuous Booths and Activities

All day long, come and test your agility and creativity at our different stations:

• Creative workshops (choose one): Traditional calligraphy, Ink Blowing, or mask painting 🎭.
• Challenges and games: Origami workshops and the unmissable Chopsticks Challenge (come beat your friends by catching as many peas as possible with chopsticks!) 🔥🥢.
• Treats: Tasting of Chinese snacks throughout the day 😋.

🥢 The Grand Dinner (8:00 PM - 9:30 PM)

Forget fast food, make way for the authentic flavors of Chinese cuisine with a full set menu!

• Starters: Spring rolls (Pork/Chicken), "Foo Young" Omelet, Shrimp dumplings.
• Main courses: Spicy stir-fried chicken, Beef with onions, Fish with vegetables, or Chinese eggplants.
• Sides: Cantonese rice, Fried noodles, Chinese cabbage, Broccoli, or Black mushrooms.
• Price: 8€ for the full menu.

Access to the event and cultural activities is free (only the evening meal is paid), but registration is mandatory via the ticketing platform.
